You’re not here to document.

Love that moves!

You’re here to tell stories that make people feel something.

Because you know your work is meant for more than timelines and traditions - it’s meant for wild places, real emotion, and .

If we’re being honest…
you’ve been craving a change.

Plus… doing it alone feels overwhelming.

You’re tired of the big-wedding grind.

Your portfolio doesn’t reflect the kind of work you know you’re meant for -

You want to attract couples who value experience over expectation…

And even though your heart is ready to pivot into elopements -

the adventures, the storytelling, the wild love stories that fill your soul.

The stress. The timelines. The pressure to perform instead of create.

but it feels impossible when your recent galleries are ballrooms and banquet halls.

you’re not totally sure where to even start.

… Location scouting in places you’ve never been.
…Marketing to a new kind of couple.
…Standing out in markets that feel saturated and competitive.

And like you might be the only one trying to figure this out.

And I’ve stood exactly  where you are

Hi, I’m Maddie.

For years, I poured my heart into traditional weddings.
Ballrooms. Strict timelines. Moments that looked perfect…
but didn’t always feel like the love stories I knew were there.

There was always this quiet pull: a desire for imagery with more breath and more truth.
Love that wasn’t staged … but lived.
Stories shaped by wind and weather and the way two people hold each other when no one else is watching.

I remember scrolling through my own portfolio, realizing it didn’t reflect the photographer.. or
the person.. I wanted to be.

So I stopped waiting for “the right time.”

I began shaping elopement experiences that felt deeply aligned with who I was becoming
the kind that make you fall in love with storytelling again.

Not because I wanted a trendy brand -
but because I needed one that matched where my heart was heading.

A brand rooted in nature, real emotion, and love that doesn’t have to perform.
A brand for couples, and photographers, who feel most alive in wild places.

I’ve lived in that in-between season:
knowing you’re capable of more
but unsure how to claim it.

I built my way out with support, guidance, and community -
and now, I get to offer that same transformation to you.

The work you want to be creating is already inside you.
You just need a space where it’s finally allowed to take shape.

I didn’t feel connected to the stories I was telling -
not in the way I knew  I could.

I craved places that made people feel something.
Work that showed the way love moves, not just how it looks

The moment everything shifted

That’s when Eternally Wild was born.

And now…
it’s your turn

And I’m here to give you that space.

You walk into every elopement knowing exactly what to do

Your work starts attracting the couples who value what you do

You stand out in the market you actually want to be in

And you’re no longer doing this alone

Imagine looking at your portfolio and finally seeing the stories you’ve always wanted to tell - the kind that feel like ocean air, soft touch, and hearts choosing adventure over expectation.

Your work starts attracting the couples who value what you do

Couples who want meaning over performance. Sunrise vows over ballroom schedules. Shared laughter and sea-salt hair over anything curated.

Location scouting is no longer overwhelming - because you understand how to find the best places and guide your couples with confidence. You know how to plan, how to direct,  and how to document connection without forcing it.

Your online presence becomes a magnet - not just for any bookings, but for the right bookings. The kind that fill your portfolio with nature, emotion, and movement. The kind that make you excited to pick up your camera again.

You have a community of photographers who get it - friends who cheer you on, share referrals, and show up for your crazy ideas. A support system that keeps you believing in what you’re building  even on the days you doubt it.

Here’s what becomes possible when you stop waiting

This is the shift you’ve been craving

A business shaped around the life you actually want to live.

Because you’re not meant for routine.

You’re meant for stories that move.

The Storybook Series: Tides + Tales in Acadia National Park

the retreat:

Tides & Tales is a multi-day retreat for elopement photographers who want to elevate their craft beyond beautiful portraits - into cinematic, heartfelt storytelling.

Set along the rugged cliffs, crashing waves, and golden sunsets of Acadia National Park, this retreat is more than a workshop. It’s a creative reset - one that helps you finally create the kind of imagery your heart has been craving.
Together, we’ll explore what it means to tell a story through photographs: the subtle glances, the wind-caught movement, the feeling of being so in love you forget about the camera.

This is for photographers who want more than pretty pictures -
they want images that make people feel something.

3 Couples Sessions

You’ll photograph deeply connected couples in the most breathtaking corners of Acadia - documenting love as it naturally unfolds in the wild. Each shoot is crafted with intentional styling and narrative-driven direction, inspired by the romance and movement of cinematic storytelling. From coastal vows at sunrise to windswept embraces on the cliffs, you’ll create scroll-stopping galleries that show the full arc of an elopement day - proving to future couples (and yourself) that you’re ready to lead them into adventure.

Connect With a Creative Community

We’ll stay together in a cozy waterfront cottage in Franklin, Maine - a space chosen for its calm, grounding energy and connection to the landscape. Between shoots, you’ll have room to reset and breathe. Slow mornings by the water. Fireside conversations that spark new ideas. A home that feels warm, inspiring, and perfectly aligned with the kind of art you’re here to create.

I’ll teach you how to build a visual narrative that feels like a love story unfolding on screen - from the soft, quiet details to the sweeping, cinematic frames that take your breath away. We’ll explore how to guide couples into natural movement, how to let the landscape shape the story, and how to anticipate the moments that matter. You’ll walk away with storytelling skills that elevate every gallery you deliver - images that make viewers feel like they were right there in the moment.

You’ll photograph intentional, beautifully styled scenes that still feel true to the couple and the place - balancing authenticity with artistry. Together, we’ll create imagery that feels cinematic and editorial without losing the heart of the moment.

We’ll take cues from the visual language of romance movies - the way they use movement, light, framing, and atmosphere to make a moment unforgettable. Together, we’ll break down what makes cinematic storytelling so powerful, then translate those techniques into your own photography. You’ll leave with new creative direction, fresh ways to compose and guide, and a deeper understanding of how to make every image feel like a scene from a story worth remembering.

You’ll learn how to gently guide your couples so their connection leads the way - creating natural movement, genuine emotion, and moments that feel true to who they are. We’ll explore how to build trust, how to bring out the story only they share, and how to photograph love in a way that feels intimate rather than posed. The result? Timeless, personal galleries that make your couples feel deeply seen - and excited to book you again and again.

I’ll share everything I’ve learned from exploring Acadia - the ceremony spots with the most stunning light, the hidden gems tourists never find, the ideal times of year for different locations, the hikes worth the climb, and the local vendors who help bring elopement days to life. You’ll leave with a complete Acadia guide you can confidently use to plan future shoots and serve real clients - turning this retreat into the beginning of your presence in one of the East Coast’s most breathtaking elopement destinations.

You’ll share this experience with a small group of photographers who care just as much about artistry as they do about adventure. Over shared meals, fireside conversations, and time exploring together, you’ll build friendships rooted in support rather than competition. You’ll leave with people who cheer for your growth, celebrate your wins, and remind you why you chose this wild and beautiful path in the first place.

What you leave with matters most

A portfolio that feels like a story. Confidence to lead elopements anywhere. And a spark that keeps you chasing the adventure.

This isn’t just a retreat.

It’s the beginning of your next chapter.

A Sunset Sailboat Storytelling Session

For the first three photographers who join, we’ll take our storytelling out on the open water. As the sun dips low and the coastline glows, you’ll photograph a real couple aboard a sailboat. It’s a chance to create images that feel dynamic and artful, the kind of portfolio piece that stands out and shows couples you’re ready for adventure.

(Only for the first 3 photographers who sign up!)

What you need to know before saying yes

Because  you deserve to feel informed and excited - not stressed.

I don’t know anyone else going - what if I feel out of place?

That’s totally normal - and honestly, expected. You’ll be surrounded by other photographers who are ready for something new and wildly wonderful. We keep the group small (only 10 spots) so it’s easy to connect. We’ll spend time together in relaxed settings (meals, explorations, evenings by the water) so the “stranger” phase fades fast. Many attendees leave with friendships for life they didn’t expect.

I’m not ready - I don’t have enough experience yet.

This retreat is for photographers who are ready to move toward adventure elopements - whether you're newer and need portfolio work, or you've been shooting weddings/couples and want to shift into more intentional, story-driven work. You don’t have to be fully booked up with elopements already. We’ll build the confidence, portfolio, and direction you need. You showing up ready to learn is exactly what this retreat is designed for.

What payment plan options are available? I’m worried about affordability.

I hear you - investing in yourself can feel scary, especially when you’re stepping into something new. That’s exactly why I offer flexible payment plans. This retreat is meant to be accessible to the photographers who are ready for their next chapter - not just the ones who already “made it.”

You can choose:
 • Pay in full
 • 4 monthly payments
 • 6 monthly payments for the smallest monthly commitment

If money feels like the only thing standing in your way, let’s find a plan that supports where you are right now - while helping you build the future you’re working toward. You’re not just paying for a trip.
You’re investing in the future bookings that will pay you back again and again.

Where should I fly in for the retreat?

Fly into Bangor International Airport (BGR) - it’s the closest major airport to Acadia National Park and our retreat home base in Franklin, Maine. From Bangor it’s about an hour drive north. Once you’re booked, we’ll share optional ride-share/car-pool info so you can connect with others traveling in.

Can I connect with other attendees ahead of time to coordinate car-pools or split rides?

Yes! After you reserve your spot, you’ll get access to our private group chat for attendees. Use it to share arrival times, coordinate carpools, ask gear questions, or just start making friends before we even arrive.

How many photographers will attend?

We’re keeping the group intimate - just 10 spots. That ensures you receive focused attention, build real relationships, and walk away feeling seen and supported, not lost in the crowd.

Is the lodging included?

Yes - depending on ticket choice. The “lodging ticket” option covers your stay at the beautiful waterfront cottage (shared occupancy) in Franklin, Maine. The “non-lodging ticket” removes the lodging cost so you can arrange your own accommodations if preferred

Your next chapter deserves room to breathe.

I'm SO ready!

And your creativity deserves to feel inspired again.

In Acadia, we slow down.
 We listen.
We create with intention - and let the story lead.
This is where your work becomes something deeper.
